Hi!
First, a disclaimer--I haven't been to any cons in almost 3 years. It's not so much that I gafiated, as that I brokiated. :(
Still, I AM planning to go to LosCon this year, so with a little luck, you should have my 1st actual con report on this site in about 6 weeks. Whee!
Other stuff...I've signed up for National Novel Writing Month. You can check it out for yourself at www.nanowrimo.org if you're into that kind of thing. ;)
