Some of my fave websites are:
Holly Lisle's Forward Motion Community: Better than sliced bread! An excellent writing site, with bulletin boards, chat classes, and absolutely wonderful people. My username there is baka_kit.

Cassandra Claire's Very Secret Diaries:
Humor: the diaries of various Lord of the Rings characters. Warning, EXTREMELY slashy! (But in a funny way.)

My friend Laura's perpetually-under-construction website:

LosCon minus about 44 hours.

Turkey minus 20 hours.

YAY!

Of course, God knows how much longer until we have new episodes of Buffy...this last one, with all it's cliffhangery goodness, is probably the last one before the New Year. Ditto with Angel, except that I missed the last one (damn those schedule-shuffling execs!) So we're left with Spike gone all malky and abducted and the question...can a vampire bleed to death; the question if Giles survived the attempt to remove the top few inches of his skull, and the apparent explosion of the watcher's council's HQ (no great loss there...when's the last time they actually HELPED her? And why the hell doesn't she draw a salary...she's working hard enough!) Then of course there's the question of the principal...is he one of the evil guys, or is he just way way way too sensitive to bad PR?

But I've got all kinds of confidence in the Buffster's ability to save the world. Until then...grr, argh!

Anyhoo, I've got to go pick up a last few things for T-day and the Con.

Yes, yes, I realize I've made only one post in the over-a-month that I've had this blog, but I've been busy. It looks like LosCon is a go, and my sweetie's costume is done.

Now all I have to do, is my gloves. I'd like to work more on a different costume, but that's a low priority now. I doubt it will...I'd rather save the money for Loscon.

As for NaNo...well, that's gone completely out the window. I've had so much sewing to do this month, that I never did have time for much writing. I've been holding steady at not-quite-12,000 for the past two weeks, and loscon is in four days. Not gonna happen...this year, anyway. Still, I'm not quite ready to give up on "Viscount's Hellions" just yet...it'll just take me more than a month to write.

God willing, I should have my 1st con report up next week.
