I've noticed something; I'm really not much got at this diary stuff. Have to fix that.
Also have to sift through my memories, and remember the Con--hehe!
But this is just an example of cat-hoovering; I'd rather do this than face what's sitting on my laptop right now. (BTW, I have a laptop--woohoo!)
I wrote some really good stuff, really powerful, over the weekend--only to discover that, as great as it was, it overshadowed what was to come after, so I had to fix it. DAMMIT! I hate that. But it's not vital, not essential to the story I want to tell.
In other news, I am really tempted to take my sweetie's clippers to my hair, chop it all off to about an inch. I mean, how can my hair be simultaneously dry & frizzy, and greasy & sticky????? Fortunately, cooler heads (also mine) prevailed, so my hair lives another day.
Anyway, I've got to get back to that fixing. Usually I don't revise during, for fear of losing my momentum, but I need to get this gone.
Goals:
Fix the Thingie in "Winds of Flame"
Fine-Tune Chapter Four of "The Gathering Storm" (or maybe, "The Coming Storm." Sheesh)
