Synopsing
I'm almost ready to send The Coming Storm out to Baen, but first I've got to get the synopsis done. I have the first draft (which only took 3 days) and I just have to tweak it, run it by a few people, make sure it makes sense.
TCS is a bit short for Baen, but it's solid.
Anyway, I've got a good carrot; I bought Blade Dancer as soon as it hit the shelves, on Wednesday--but my sweetie's got strict orders from me not to let me have it until I've submitted TCS.
This serves two purposes; give me a reward for (finally) submitting this, and keeping me from doing what I usually do when I get my hands on one of her books--namely, absolutely nothing until I've gotten to the end.
Anyway, heading down to L.A. this weekend, to see family. This is good; it will let me get a day's worth of distance before revising.
